Energy

Scientist define enregy as abilit to do work, in other words, to make things happen. The Sun supplies most of the Earths energy, as electromagnatic radiation that includes light rays and infraded or heat rays. Some of the light energy is absorbed by plants, and stored in thier leaves and stems as energy-rich chemicals such as sugars. When we eat plants, some of the energy is released inside our bodies, to help us grow and stay alive.
